Danish language courses
We strongly encourage our international students to learn Danish during their stay in Denmark.
Your study programme is taught in English and you will be able to get by with just speaking English, however, when getting to know a new culture, it is very important to speak the language. Additionally, you will be looking for an internship at some point during your studies, and here, being able to speak Danish will provide you with a great advantage.
Three good reasons to learn Danish
- Get a good internship
- Get an interesting and well-paid student job
- Socialise with the Danes and get insight into Danish culture
Danish lessons on campus
The Academy cooperates with the provider A2B. They offer classes at the Business Academy, flexibly organised to fit your schedule and your needs as a new international student.
The Danish lessons with A2B are free of charge and take place twice a week on campus.
As an international in Denmark, your Danish language teaching is divided into modules. How far you get during a year, varies from student to student.
You will receive information about this option before the start of your programme.
Additional options
Students at the Business Academy have several additional options for taking Danish lessons:
Should the times offered by A2B at the Business Academy not suit you, you can also follow Danish lessons run by A2B at Aarhus University.
You can also do a free online Danish course for beginners at danskherognu.dk
Another option is through swaplanguage.com. You can start online before you arrive in Denmark.
