After you have applied

When we have received your application, you will get an email with a link to NemStudie.

You will get information about your application through NemStudie, e.g. if we need additional documents or have important messages for you.

When a messages is ready for on NemStudie, you will receive a notification by email.

The admissions team will do an overall assessment of the applications based on the required and optional documentation. If we think it is necessary, we will do a clarifying online interview.

Applicants with a qualifying exam from a foreign country, not living in Denmark at the time of applying

The best-qualified applicants will be selected for our Multimedia Design programme and will receive a Letter of Intent on 2 May. 

The remaining qualified applicants will receive an answer concerning whether they are admitted or not on 28 July.

Applicants with a qualifying exam from the EU, living in Denmark at the time of applying

As you already live in Denmark, you will not hear from us until 28 July.

Where do I find my answer?

You’ll get the answer on NemStudie.

I haven't received my answer!

Even though you have applied for several programmes, you will only get one answer. You will only get an answer from the programme that has accepted you.

If you are not offered a study place on any programme, you will get a rejection message.

The study place is only yours if you accept it on NemStudie before the deadline.

When you have accepted your study place, you will receive a new message in NemStudie with more information about your study start,

You will get a rejection message if:

• you do not fulfil the admission requirements
• you fulfil the admission requirements, but you are not admitted

When will I get my rejection message?

If you do not fulfil the admission requirements, you will receive a rejection message as soon as we have evaluated your application.

If you fulfil the admission requirements, but you are not admitted, you will receive a rejection message on 28 July.

Where do I receive my rejection message?

You’ll get the rejection message on NemStudie.

If you are not accepted on any programme that you applied for, you will get a rejection message from KOT in your digital post box from the public authorities

Remember, that if you are offered a study place for one programme, you will not receive a rejection message from the programmes that you are not admitted to.

Your first day of study will be Monday 25 August 2025.

In the week before study start, we will arrange Orientation Days for all new international students. We strongly recommend you to participate.
