Young people choose programmes with a job guarantee
An increase in quota 2 applications to Business Academy Aarhus - especially in finance and the natural sciences.
Young people are increasingly looking for programmes that promise good job opportunities in the business world. This is shown by applicant figures for Business Academy Aarhus, where quota 2 applications this year have increased by 13 per cent compared to last year.
Programmes with jobs in sight
Overall, the academy has received 3,000 applications, which the rector Anne Storm Rasmussen is pleased about.
‘It's particularly encouraging to see that the natural science programmes are becoming more popular. Young people are increasingly looking for programmes where we know that companies are looking for people,' she says.
Among the most popular programmes is our multimedia designer. Our Multimedia Design programme is one of our remaining English-language programmes and this year we received a total of 263 applications, which is on par with what we received last year. Our second English-language programme Digital Concept Development has dropped slightly to 106 applications
Cybersecurity is popular
Denmark lacks cyber security specialists, which is why Business Academy Aarhus has launched a new Bachelor's degree programme in cybersecurity (unfortunately only available in Danish). Interest in the new programme has been high, and already in the first application round, the Business Academy Aarhus has more than twice as many applicants as there are places available.
Admitted or not?
For all international applications (i.e. students without a Danish exam) the deadline was 15 March.
